Dr. Melinda Chan
Dr. Melinda Chan joined the staff of Rockridge Smiles in 2000, and became a partner in 2008. She grew up in the Philippines, where she graduated from dental school at the University of the Philippines. In 1993, she moved to the Bay Area and completed the International Dental Student Program and Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program, both at the University of the Pacific. She feels lucky to work in a practice that fosters a culture of learning and personal growth.
Dr. Audrey Peterson
Dr. Audrey Peterson joined Rockridge Smiles in 2009. The daughter of Dr. Caroline Peterson, Dr. Audrey was born and raised in Berkeley, and spent a lot of time at Rockridge Smiles growing up. She completed her bachelor's degree at UC Santa Cruz and continued on for her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UC San Francisco. She loves using technology and research in the practice of preventative and conservative dentistry. When not at work, you can usually find her hanging out with her family, gardening, or baking.
Dr. Caroline Peterson
Dr. Caroline Peterson has recently retired! After a wonderful 41 years of running the practice and taking amazing care of her patients, she is now enjoying the extra time to spend with her husband, dog, and grandkids.
